The need to quit.

Writing this I am craving a cigarette. It is very hard and difficult to control it but I believe I can do this.

You can do this for sure, just concentrate on what you are gaining not on what you are giving up. We are all cheering for you

Hang in there , take some deep breathes , breathing in relaxation and slowly exhaling the anxiety . Repeat , practise . The more we fight the more addiction resists , that’s its nature . Push …. that’s is it’s dirty plan so you will break . Don’t. Craves don’t last more than a few minutes ( how many times did you go out a day to smoke ) so obviously in the beginning it will try more . Thats normal . It will get easier . The key is not to feed it because it fuels it . You are doing great . Keep going , keep posting . Let us know how we can help .

You are not giving up anything but gaining everything when you quit smoking. Read, learn and bellieve in yourself. Many have quit and we are here to help with stories and comments. Change how you think about smoking and you just might be amazed at how much easier it is than you thought it would be!
Today is day 66. This is embarrassing, but am having real trouble with constipation. Like, chronic. I’m going to have to see the doctor it’s so bad. Think sometimes that having a cigarette will fix it, but I resist. I would be so disappointed, and I know it’s not the solution. Am I alone in this? It really is chronic.
