I have 5 adorable kids who need their mum. However i have been diagnosed with peripheral arterial disease which is now affecting how i live my daily life and the interactions with my children. Did i mention i am only 34.

So far i have had 3 surgeries to unblock arteries in my legs and due for another soon. With this i feel extremely fatigued in my legs after sometimes only a few short metres. So you can imagine with a 2 year old how difficult it can be.

This disease isnt going to go away. But i can avoid more blockages by giving away the one of the main causes.. that being smoking.

Day 1 .. lets see if i can do this not only for my kids but for myself as sometimes you need to put your self first 😊

Ams83, I have atherosclerosis which causes hardening of the arteries and blockages. I am having surgery on the 13th for blockage in my left leg and later on my right. I understand your situation. I used to be so active, and now exercise, and even dancing which I love makes my legs hurt. We can quit this addiction that is hurting our bodies. I know you like me want a better quality of life. I wish you the best!

Ams, Like they say if you want to quit you have to really want it, because it all boils down to a mind game and those thoughts of smoking have to be defeated, for that you will need willpower and combined with an evidence based quit method you can defeat this curse.

Kind regards

Anthony

The only way is up, you can escape this dreadful addiction. Have you tried Alan Carrs book or audio book? I listen to the audio book while travelling to work. It's all about WANTING to escape, not having to. It could be easy if you change your mindset, and very worth while.
