Tired of being 'tired' - so aware for many years of the pitfalls of smoking however time and again fallen back into the trap. As each new year rolls around, another reminder of time ticking away. Would definately prefer to feel healthy and vibrant instead of lethargic and depressed. Time to kick bad habits and replace with new healthy, fun times - sorry ciggies you just don't fit into my future plans!

I feel the same time after time, Stop I hold the power, not today smoke go away! I have had periods where I have felt fit, healthy & vibrant then chosen to destroy it with alcohol & cigarettes no good for me or my confidence and well being. Good work wish you best of luck, today was hard I was quite emotional and had a good cry, guess I feel quire frustrated with myself.

Day 31 of attempt no 3. I had 56 1mg Champix tablets left from a previous quit attempt(Both previous attempts lasted 4 months). So Nov 2013 i took one tablete a day, cut one cig a day till i reached 0 from 20, and started my quit on the 23rd of Dec 2014. For the first quit week i used 1 Champix a day, thereafter, every second day, untill they where finished a week ago. I have learnt this: Champix does NOT MIX with alcohol! Coffee is a trigger, basically any stimulant is a trigger for a craving. Drink 7 to 8 glasses of water.

Hi Jewels1, Your not alone in your many attempts to kick the nicotine habit, the most important thing to remember is, You have learned through your previous attempts, it gives you knowledge, strength and wisdom to know your strong points as well as your weak points.. You can do this, like the rest of us, just stay focused and sont consume yourself in the " im being deprived " bit, just keep going and dont give in.It gets easier over time..

Good luck
