Tips and side effects

Today I am 10 days smoke free, it's not weeks, months or years, but it is still a huge achievement. I have been smoking for 30 plus years.
I am currently taking varenicline, it works wonders, but not without side effects.
Some of the side effects are
- insomnia waking up with hot sweats and then feel cold
- mood swings
- constipation
- weight gain
Things that have helped me
- podcast around quiting smoking
- walks
- getting rid of all ash trays, lighters and thing smoke related
- chewing gum, lollies
- avoiding places you normally smoke
- eating breakfast (smokes use to be my Breakfast)
- quit smoking apps do you can check money you have saved
- talking to yourself things like "you've got this", "what benefit do you gain from s.ok", "smoking is disgusting "
- meditation
My main reason for quiting smoking is that I found out I have a brain aneurysm. I don't want anyone else to have to hear those words.
Good luck on your journey of quiting. You've got this 💯
I just quit smoking by using PuffStats. PuffStats will Help You Quit Smoking

Hello Summa fin. I hope you are doing well in both your quit and over all well being. I am sorry it took so long to respond and I can't believe I hadn't been on in a month. I have been reading a lot lately about PuffStats on here although I haven't followed up on it, but every aid available out there is worth looking into. Allan Carr's book....How to Quit Smoking Permanently is something that I would recommended reading. He enables you to see smoking in a different light and has had much success with his actual clients. Many here have read the book and found it helpful. ❤❤❤
