The cravings are getting smaller

Now into my 5th week of quitting. I’m surprised by how my cravings are dying down. I think it’s because I’ve been making the commitment to not smoke whatever happens and no matter what I’m feeling. These things pass ! I also used cigarettes to suppress stress and “ help” me feel better. But this is an illusion. It’s what I associate them with is what has led me to be a smoker in the past. And this is where I want them to be. Being a smoker is like burying a million dollars and dying before you can reveal where it is. And the main cost of course is to your health. Nothing else much to say about it I’m just aiming for that 6 week mark at the moment.

A great post Cuba. Giving others the key to an easier quit is wonderful. I could say it a thousand times, but someone else giving it validation makes it seem more obtainable, and it IS!

We can quit smoking when we see the truth and WANT to change. Looking at it in a different way and BELIEVING we can makes all the difference.

Keep going on this wonderful path Cuba, and please keep writing and encouraging others. Congratulations on finding the determination, mindset and key to success!
