I made it through

So Stopping nicotene this time has been very different from other quit attempts that I've made over the years..
One of the keys to my current success has been reading alot about other people's stories - their success, their challenges, insight and experience.
I also joined online forums. So good to feel supported and to feel that i was not alone! When i was feeling sick and tired during withdrawals, I could validate my own symptoms by reading about others experiences.
Now that I have gone for 29 days nicotene and smoke free, I can say it is such a good feeling!! I have energy! My anxiety has all but disappeared, I feel hopeful! I am looking forward to my future., I feel really good.
The withdrawals were tough and I had lots of symptoms, but, I have made it through and I know things will get better and better.
Your body is truely amazing. If you are starting your journey and having doubts or feeling sick and wondering if you will ever feel good again...know that this pain of withdrawal is only temporary and short lived. You can do it too. Trust me! It is so worth it. Go for it!!

The effort will be so worth it Shekwits, no feeling tired and run down, more energy. Keep at it :)

Thanks for the post Shekwits, it feels a lot better when you are supported and you don't feel so alone during your quit. Forums do that for you, and reading others posts is a great way to learn. NOPE (not one puff ever).

Congratulations 🙌 I can relate to getting strength from reading other people's stories and experiences. I find them most helpful. Best wishes to you 😊

Way to go and thanks for expressing your thoughts which I am sure mirror many others.
You are not alone. We do understand , and we know that you too can remain smoke=free with the right mindset.
Enjoy your freedom, new found confidence, more energy and things of worth to spend your money on. Yes , the body is an amazing thing, but the mind is also strong and resilient. Changing how we think can even make quitting easier.
Make up your mind that you want to be and Can be a happy non-smoker.
Congratulation on closing in on that one month milestone. Passage of time is a great marker, but we know that we are happy non-smokes when we are truly grateful and acknowledge than we Desire that freedom more than smoking.
When we see how smoking never did anything for us, we can easily let it go.
