schedule 19 Jun 2020

Hi guys,

It's been 5 weeks since I made decision to live better life.. I'm really happy since this week was different as previous. This was the first week when I felt less pressure from quitting..

But it was tricky as always, it's enough just one thought about it together with less concentration, forget to think possitive and I'm back on my old life.. it weird.. that I still miss my old life many times per day nevertheless now I live my life as I always wanted.. Isn't it stupid? Since I quit 5 weeks ago, I begun to do excercise, eat healthy, avoiding sweet and brush my teeth regularly.. I can see big progress in each area, and it's just 35days, what will be after 70 or even 100? I don't know now, but I'm going to dig it out and let you know.. Motto of this week: "If it's important for you, you will find the way, if not, you will find the excuse.." And quitting is very important for all of us, so find the way to your better, dreamed life..

It is funny how health becomes our top priority after quitting smoking. It is the best things we can do for one thing. More money to spend on quality nutrition is good too. I love my cheap but very nutritious breakfast of oatmeal, banana, peanut butter and ground flax seed . I usually have a can of mackerel between 4 days a week, and an apple with just half an ounce of almonds the other days. A dinner of 3 oz meat, a medium potatoe and a veg round out the day. It took awhile using my nutrition app to figure this all out. I also enjoy a 1/4 cup of cottage cheese and fruit (berries, pineapple, pomegranite) for an evening snack. I don't go hungry. Make good choices.

Hope this might help you and others. I have lost 20 lbs and not been hungry. You can do what you put your mind to and feel good about. Congratulations!

Great post matic-1. I am so happy you are training your brain to enjoy different aspects of your life, this is so important. Yes I know how it feels to have had a different life before and so much more at present:- I have been offline for one week, and have had to adjust my daily schedule to suit, of course this is not detrimental to my health except for the loss of getting on line here for example. A new tower is or has been built, so all should be well for the time being.

It just goes to show that we cannot be complacent in respect of re directing our daily activities. I love your Motto keep them coming, for me eventually the top one was most definitley NOPE (not one puff ever)
