12 th day expectations

I’ve been a smoker for 7 years non stop. I’ve only tried to stop twice and could only go through a day. That was also feeling immensely miserable, with immediate flu like symptoms after 4 hours to no smoking. But this time I was very prepared to stop. I was done with smoking mentally. There was nothing that benefited me, so i set a date and stopped. The first 3 days were hard. Just sleeping and eating, and noy doing much. Only socializing through phone calls and meal times. After the first week it wasn’t all that hard. I started exercising as i was gaining more weight snd found myself constantly hungry. No cravings per say. But on the 13th day, i’ve had 3 or 4 cravings and it has been intense. I’m not sure where its coming from, and then someone pointed out to me that I’ve been stressed lately. Unaware of the stress and not associating it to the craving i realised that was just it. So be careful and mindful of your cravings. Being aware takes you further from that 1 puff you could just have had. :) hope i helped. And also, can’t wait to be smoke free for 2 weeks. 💃🏽

It sounds like you will have your 2 weeks down with no problem. A quit is best started in the right mindset to better be equipped to deal with the challenges you may face. Keep up the good work Anami. Stay strong, Stay positive.
