73 Days and still want to smoke

Hi,
I tried and tried, but just couldn't do it, then I tried champix and it was a miracle. I quit and it was easy. I've since gone off the champix and straight away I started craving. I've been vaping and chewing nicotine gum and that has helped heaps.
I want to stay quit as I can't afford it financially, but I looooved smoking and miss it. It is great not to be a slave to it though, not constantly looking for an opportunity to smoke etc etc. And my cough has gone away.
So hopefully I won't relapse!

I'm really curious about what you love about smoking?
Imagine not being addicted to something, having more money and your cough not coming back!

Hi all I've now quit for 6 weeks. I tried champix for 2 weeks and felt depressed so have been cold turkey for 4 weeks now. I have only started to crave cigarettes again today and work seems to be the trigger and lack of sleep and long drives. I used to smoke to stay awake and work harder. I have a long drive tomorrow and will most likely have no sleep my brain is telling me I need to buy smokes for the drive and rationalising this is in all strange ways. Can someone share what they do when triggers pop up and how to avoid them? I need to stay quit for my children and health. I'm a chronic asthmatic who has smoked for 20 years and only gave up whilst pregnant. Thank you
