You quit for the greater good!

schedule 30 Aug 2017

Hi quit on the second week of August 2017. I had a lot of problems upon quitting. I made sure to be at home for a couple of days and then the weekend approached. So like for 4 days. I drank avacado milkshake, lemon& honey with warm water. I snacked crazily. I was irritated. I watched a lot of movies. Then when I went back to work, a colleague with whom I used to smoke everyday called me to smoke. I respectfully refused and I went along with him and did not smoke[ that was probably the hardest thing to do] That's when I realized how bad my friend smelled and full of smoke- plus we had to pay terrible money for the smoke.

I made that a habit to go along with some of my smoker friends once in a while. But times I followed the general routine ( drinking avacado milshake with honey) and I stopped using caffiene ( tea/coffee).

The triggers/cravings keep on coming. but we need to stay calm( breathe in breathe out) and drinking some water or go for a short walk. You could also call a friend or someone in the family.

:)
