Day 10 tomorrow

Day 10 looming already! Gee that time went fast. Survived a 3 hour road trip and return, a time when I'd normally smoke umpteen cigarettes. I did eat junk food though, that has to stop and soon...

I know about the food replacing the nicotine too well!!!! I have actually gone to the gym at 5am a couple times a week for the last two weeks. This really helped me with the cravings and prevented the weight coming on from eating more. I also go to the gym in the afternoon once a week and maybe twice on weekends. It is so hard balancing everything when working full time!!!!!. Trying to be mindful of eating natural non-junk foods mostly through the week and will treat myself on weekends. Last week I had a massive binge on junk and felt so fat, but this week it is getting better with self talk to not buy so much junk. I feel that if we can prevent ourselves from gaining too much extra weight when we give up we will feel better mentally and physically in the long run and it will be easier to shed less weight if we happen to put it on. If we can put ourselves through the nictoine withdrawal and lose that wonderful habit that really is horrible and smelly - then we can use that mental power to exercise and occupy ourselves with that instead of nicotine thoughts. I have had to spend a lot of time by myself with no alcohol to get this - but im hoping the pay off will come - Life is different straight right?
