Wow, hope you are ok?? Tell the nurses that you feel like this maybe there is a smoking cessation person you could chat with? I think its understandable, you are in the middle of an extremely stressful situation and we have all used smokes as our stress crutches (not that it helped much the stress was still there!) Sending you lots of positive vibes and hope you get better really quickly.

Sorry to hear of this pitfall, my uncle smoked for years and years and quit then experienced a stroke, fortunately he survived and extremely lucky to have no lasting disability because of it. He found it very difficult to quit but used one of those chemist issue plastic cig (nicotine inhaler) with a nicotine capsule which you inhale in a similar fashion to smoking, my partner found this very helpful too for when the cravings came on. I'm using abit of a patch, as i have failed quitting so many times it's ridiculous, but i'm on day 3 again and feel really happy to have made some distance betweeen me and them. I hope you continue on your quit journey, a slip up is not the end, just be careful not to relapse for long periods of time or it's just hard to get the movtivation up again. I found the motivation increased by visiting this website. I hope you feel better soon and enjoy good health. best wishes :)
