What I Done

After smoking for 10 years i found it difficult to quit cigarettes. On some occasions i quit cold turkey while the most recent attempt i transitioned to vaping nicotine. I found vaping to be something to help me quit smoking easily. I then smoked vape for 1 year. From this point i was looking for ways to quit vaping. I found nicotine replacement therapy. I was using patches of 25MG and 4MG lozenges to quit vaping. This is all i used to go 40 days without vaping. I Gradually reduced my NRT consumption over time. Once i went NRT free i found it difficult to quit NRT or nicotine replacement therapy for 4 months. I decided to go to the doctor and get myself Chantix which is a medication used to quit smoking. The doctor told me on the 10th day to stop using lozenges and patches altogether. On the 9th day i decided to let go of lozenges and it worked. I was not using patches within the time i was using chantix. Just 2MG lozenges. I was very sensitive to Nicotine replacement therapy.

I am glad that you found a way that worked for you. Many people do get hooked on the NRT as it is still a form of nicotine. While Chantix takes the pleasure of smoking or vaping or even that Hit of Dopamine felt by ingesting nicotine in any form, it is advised to seek councelling to make the quit permanent. That is what these sites are for.
Continue to read and learn and be PROUD of your accomplishment. Better still is to DESIRE to be free of smoking, vaping, etc. forever.
We can quit smoking when we have the MIND to.
