Good luck. It will be trying at times but keep focusing on the positives on quitting. I have been staying away from social events and alcohol. Nearly 3 weeks smoke free.

The important thing is to hang in there as it gets easier with time. At first it’s hard to get the right mindset it can take a while but being free from cigarettes is fantastic. You will feel better

The decision to quit is step one. I followed a program I found in a document on the internet. The free document is called "Not Another Puff". It provided me tons of ways to manage the cravings.

Hello, Thankyou all for your stories… I’m struggling once again and feeling failure and shame with myself. I have no choice now (COPD in my family). I guess this is my last ditch attempt and realised I can’t do it on my own. I read a members post about thinking of cigarettes 25/7 ….. that’s me too! Each time I try I actually smoke more! I have my patches ready to go again but for some stupid reason just can’t open that box….. I know I have to get mentally tough and stop giving in too soon. I love them and hate them at the same time. So tired of the battle and lack of willpower.
