Distract Yourself

Closing in on 5 weeks quit and the cravings are less. I’m feeling much more confident. I’m finding the best way to beat cravings is distraction. Whatever you can think of to help. Write a list of things you can do instead of smoking. Who wants to smoke anyway it has nothing going for it - super expensive, causes cancer and heart disease, ageing of the skin plus it really stinks. So many other reasons to not smoke.
As I’ve already said if I can do this anyone can I was really addicted. Why do something that is so bad for me and for you ? It’s like licking a radioactive lollipop each time. It’s so insidious it builds and builds up in the body until it’s too late. Why cut 20 years or more off your life? These are all things I’ve thought of this week. I’m starting to experience the benefits now of quitting for good and I won’t go backwards again. 🌟
