Hi all I am now 91 days smoke free. I really can't believe I just said that but it is a great feeling.
13 weeks today.
I do still if I'm honest crave a smoke but it's only a thought it passes as always. But gosh it does get me at the worst times.
Like today on my way home from shopping we drive for 1 hour and coming back into town i had that feeling of ah we are almost home the 1st thing I used to do was smoke once I was out of the car.
And then I don't no it just passed without really noticing it had passed.
It is a strange experience still having them thoughts.
But I have noticed now I don't think about smoking first thing in the morning anymore.
I don't really think about it much if I'm honest it sometimes does sneak up that craving for it but that's it. Just a craving not the thought of it.
I have also got through my treatment from my thyroid problem and I am now on the healthy side.
Here's to almost at 100 days smoke free.
Thanks again for all the support
It really is mind over matter
You really can do it
Don't ever quit quitting.
Give up the smokes and get your health and wealth back really it is worth it.
Also my skin is looking heaps better now. Few people have told me I look really good so that's a positive for me.
Keep at the hard work of quitting.
I promise you that you are not going to die without smoking.
Learn to deal with cravings and thoughts really go for a walk breath deep drink water.
There is so many other things to do that smoke then rotten cancer hungry money smelly sticks.
Be positive about the new life of been smoke free because I promise you it's so worth it. ππππ₯πππͺπͺπ

I am so glad things are good for you Gemma. You did the best thing possible for yourself and on the right path to a healthier, wealthier future. You are also an inspiration to others. When we don't give the time to nicotine to "debate" but just turn our thoughts to other things, it doesn't stand a chance.

Great post Gema23 and so glad your health has improved too. NOPE (not one puff ever)

What an inspirational post Gemma, youβve got this nailed,I stopped on august2 cold turkey, after a week of being depressed in week 3 I snapped out of it and now feel great and really proud of myself too so I can truly identify with how your feelingπIβll never smoke a dirty cigarette ever again,Thankyou for your honest inspirational post x

Thanks for all the feed back. I really appreciate all your comments β₯οΈππͺπ
It is a really rough road and they say for the 1st year it can be a little rough I mean at the end of the day it was an addiction and that isn't going to go away over night.
I am proud of me 2 that I have gotten this far.
I didn't ever think I could do it but here I am 3 months on and not 1 cigarette.
Some ladys at work smoke and the price has now gone up.of cigarettes by $7 dollars and more. And they said I need to stop
But I no they won't they say that because they see the price go up but you have to really really want to give up for you to succeed with quitting smoking.
I then am happy that I do not smoke anymore
The thought of day 1 again is not very appealing to me.
