- One breath at a time
One breath at a time
I've tried many times to quit with varying degrees of success. This time I played the long game and started meditating some months ago. Now it's the central plank of my strategy.
Cravings like any thoughts will pass
Cravings like any thoughts are not who we are
Sit back, observe your craving, take a deep breath and move on.
Be kind, generous and forgiving of yourself.

Hi there, couldn't agree more! I began meditating long after I quit smoking, I can see how much it would have helped at the time, still does with the odd passing thought of a cigarette. So freeing not to identify with those thoughts, even to be able to laugh at them!
Where are you on your nonsmoking journey? All the best with the quit, and the "urge surfing".

sounds good to me.
I don't feel like or want a smoke, 44 days but I am going through hell with all the changes etc.. going on in my body and brain chemist recommended some Q10 to help.
I wouldn't wish what I am going through on any body and if your reading this and you haven't had a smoke yet do it at your own peril.
not a good drug at all its a very bad drug.
