Afraid and excited. Last smoking days. Anyone out there who's with me? 😊

We are all with you !

We know how you feel when first starting out and can remember the thoughts and feelings along the way.  While all quits are different , we are joined in the mission.

The only thing to fear is failing, but then you learn, pick yourself up and continue on. Be exited that you are making the greatest change in your life, and this change is GREAT!

We only regret smoking in the first place, not quitting! I have yet to hear anyone say otherwise.  We only continued smoking as not to have these feared cravings from the withdrawl .  These cravings do not last forever.....forget about them and they will forget about you.   See them as reminders that you are winning and no longer wish to be an addict to nicotine.    Stop letting them dictate your life!

Look forward to breathing better, smelling better, looking better, feeling better and saving money from ash and generally LIVING BETTER!  Be proud that you have made this CHOICE for you and your loved ones.

Keep positive thoughts and believe in yourself.  DESIRE this change and it will come!

Any day is a good day to quit.  Why not quit on your birthday and give yourself the most amazing gift!

Hello SilentHeyoka. I am only 1 month 25 days into it. I can give you some insight on what I went throught and what I am going through. Maybe we can lift each other up on hard days?

I cannot I even made it this long. I have attempted many, many times but will never give up until I succeed. For me, it really helped reading other posts from here and https://whyquit.com - I especially like https://whyquit.com/freedom/tell-a-newbie/tell-a-newbie-01.html

I even went to the historical posts of people on this site and it really did help me. I also posted word on my walls to remind me: "Do not prolong the inevitable. There's no easy solution". I don't want to be old and have health issues and smoking a cig. I am this far in, so that too is an inspiration.

Once you get one day non-smoking, try for another day. If you feel like a smoke, try to postpone it 1 hour and you might be surprised, after 1 hour, your urge might be gone!

Everyone is different but we are all the same!!!

Good luck with your journey!
