Hi... The only thing for me which helped me in that moment, was to just stay quit from one minute to the other, one hour to the other, one day to the other.... I was not able to imagine myself that it actually gets better..- well it does.. but that did not matter... Just fight the battle.. Your are doing great... hand in there...

PS: I did cold turkey, felt that one time taff struggle is easier than several small once..

When I reached 5 days smoke free I felt so proud of myself. The thought of a cigarette was constantly on my mind but with the help of champix and distracting myself, keeping occupied, drinking water, eating bucketloads of peanut m&m's, I got past it each time. And that's all you can do really. Stay strong and determined, don't let the cigarettes remain in control of you. Take that control back! One day at a time, and before you know it you'll be a month free of smokes, then two months, three months and so on. Life is so much better without cigarettes for many, many reasons. Can't think of even one good reason to continue being a slave to nicotine :) Good luck and check in here daily for that extra support and motivation on your journey.
