Ouit smoking 12 days ago but it is getting harder now, so have joined this group for support

Keep it up I to am at the beginning day 11. I found taking deep breaths and exhale long and hard helps.

fantastic dotty i found the first month a challenge if your really experiencing tough craving maybe try a nicotine substitute .its not a compromise its being kind and smart sometimes .when you can feel a no coughing day reward your self and remeber your a strong and wise person

I am 14 days quit and feel a little as you do. It can be hard but there is no doubt my body is feeling better. When I get a craving I visualise myself smoking and remember that it was a two minute hit and I was increasing my cigarettes to get the same hit. I was also tied to them and lived my life around them. Then I visualise my life not smoking and it is infinitely better. I also give myself a small treat each week. Something I didn't do before. A mini facial, a nice smelling soap. For me, in the end, I particularly hated the way I smelt of cigarette smoke and when my grandchildren commented on it. So things that smell nice and I can enjoy makes me feel better. when I get up each morning I say to myself "I choose not to smoke today". Keep going we will all be better off not smoking. We must do this.

thank you every one just letting you know that i am now 18 days smoke free and feeling much stronger I have decided that I am not going thru this again
good luck to all of you keep strong and remember that you are doing this for you and your life will be better for it
