So good to hear that you are remaining smoke free Battle Won. I hope you don't mind that i just again, now, used the phase that you inspired me to use. When it comes to quitting smoking the battle really is won in the mind. You can lead a horse to water , but you can't make him drink. If he is not thirsty enough you will have to wait him out. I don't know if you can reason with a horse....
I did some Christmas shopping today. The new year will upon us in the blink of an eye. I hope you will write a story to inspire the newcomers seeking advice and support. When they see it can be done it does wonders for self belief. I know that that was the difference for me. Once adopting the mindset the rest becomes much easier.
Congratulations again friend, don't forget to check in on a regular basis and enjoy your new found freedom. Enjoy the holidays and stay safe.

Happiness it’s always good to hear from You, please use that phase as much as you want to inspire others. If I’m not mistaken you are past the 1 year mark sometime ago congratulations are in order, Christmas shopping is always fun if you can beat the rush. Again keep being the voice of strength & wisdom, you will be surprise how many people you are helping beat this nasty habit. And if we’re counting than put me on the list of one you have help, enjoy your holiday friend.

It always feel good to do good, so if i have helped to make your journey easier that makes me happy and my dopamine levels are topped up! I do feel this is a worthwhile cause and since I enjoy doing it , it is a win win!

Anyone can quit smoking. If you just believe you can. If you are not sure you can or even totally sure that you want to quit smoking then read and learn. When you see the truths and see a glimmer of hope you too will want to make the change to a better future. It can be done, and with the right mindset it will just feel right and so much easier.

Go with the flow.....Embrace the journey....you will not will regret it.

Hi Battlewon. Yes you have won a few battles but you obviously know that the enemy is never far away. Hang in there with the rest of us battle weary and scarred individuals. It is on this forum where you can reassess your battle strategy and by reassuring others you can convince yourself you are on the right track. You will start or continue to believe the positive messages you put out there especially when you get appropriate responses. This is such a good place to visit. No-one understands you better than a fellow quitter.

Lia I really enjoy your post because you always remind me and others to stay vigilant and not get to comfortable where we are at because the enemy is near by to Tripp’s up. I’m looking forward to being where you are one day.
