You really only need to quit once Moomoo9, stop torturing yourself and make a final decision to become a non-smoker. I hope that while you relapsed you took the time to understand why you are doing this to yourself. I hope that you took the time to hate the time you had to indulge the Nicomonsters appetite, to taste the poison in every cigarette and to make a list of why you should continue to support the tobacco companies who do not care about your health or wealth.

You are a master at defeating the addiction short term, but the psychological part needed work and I hope you have developed more skill at retraining the mind. I know that you can do this, now YOU have to believe it.

I have had many goes at giving up (stopping for 4 years at one time), and at the time my commitment was, I thought, for long term. I had no back up like this forum and had made a list of things that happened. It was the frustration that why was this happening and thought that I had no willpower, the fact was I was doing this on my own, and our mind justifies and tricks us into believing one will not hurt, which of course it does.

I do not blame myself for this happening, If anyone is to blame or hate (if you need to hate something) it is the Manufacturing of the cigarette; The Retail Outlets for selling them; and the Government for getting a cut on your taxes. Without letting you know the percentage of the Nicotine (the addictive substance) in every cigarette. Nicotine is the bad person here.

My biggest understanding came from reading Alan Cars book which Happiness suggested. it pointed out the Nicotine Addiction and behaviours in detail which I wasn't aware of before. Perhaps you can read this if you haven't done so already. Well done for 5 days and not giving up.

The Tobacco companies rely on our weakness. They make them, We buy them. We become addicted. They become rich. Dont let them win. Keep the money in your pocket. They dont make us buy them, They just make it hard for us not to. Be strong Moomoo. I believe in you
