I just want to quit but it just so hard. Can anyone help me. I don’t smoke at night but I have a few through the day. I just need motivation as I want to be healthy n I want to loose weight as well.

    You're right, it is hard, but not impossible! Start from where you are, so this is when you start making better choices. Choose to go for a walk, get some fresh air, but not any smokes. Use NRT products, Nicotine Replacement Therapies, I have found that they really work. Just get through today, if that's too big, break it down to hours, if not minutes. Get through 5 mins at a time. Keep going. It is worth the effort.

    Yeh sure is hard. But I really want to do. Thanks heaps. I am aiming to start the week no smokes. I have patches and a few other things. I’ve got 2 get my wheel power 2 get through this. Will post update how I am going. Thanks again

    Hi Kylie. I'm on day 6 today and have been using the nicotine lozenges, when I finish those though I'm switching to the patch (less expensive). The NRT is helping out a lot. I think keeping a positive attitude really helps as well as writing your reasons for quitting down and looking at them when you get tempted. You can do it! I believe in you!!!!

    You can make it much easier, not easy, but not nearly as hard. It is all in your mindset. First, yes, you must really WANT to quit, and then, make up your mind, that you do NOT WANT to smoke. You do NOT WANT to be that slave to a little tube of tobacco. Try Allen Carr's book "The easy way to quit smoking"..
    This can be as easy as you make it.. I know. I was a blind, stupid smoker for 45 years, and became a FREE non smoker, in 4+- weeks, and have not craved, or wanted one since :) You can do it too.. Make that smoke something you don't want, not something you can't have.. It makes a world of difference :)

    The weight gain can be an issue.. Try celery.. You can munch all you want, and loose weight digesting it.. LOL

    Hi kylie1979, it is very hard. You can do it. You could always try to decrease the amount you smoke daily, or try cold turkey. I went the cold turkey route from smoking for 6 years im 116 days smoke free. I have notice that getting out and walking helps a lot. So find something else that you could create as a Good habit. I understand your concern you can do this stay strong. Take it step by step, day by day.

    Hi everyone, I’m on day 2. I’ve had 3 smokes
    Yesterday n 2 today. Very happy with myself and thanks everyone for the encouragement 😊😊
