So, technically 46 days smoke free. I caved last week . You know, I was going out,knew a smoker that would be there and actually looked forward to either asking for a cig or at least a puff. so, had that 1 puff. It tasted so bad and I felt like I was choking - I was so happy that my decision to quit was reinforced.
Hiya everyone, I made it to 2 weeks smoke free(thanks Champix). I truly never thought I would get this far. Every one tells me that after 2 weeks you might start feeling yuk, coughing up stuff and generally just feeling bad. It's weird that I feel I'm on "holidays" from smoking. It's hard to explain but I'm on day 10 smoke free (with champix) but can't really believe I have given up. I have not been around smokers for the last week, so maybe if I see and smell it more and find that disgusting I might feel more committed. cravings are bad on day 6 plus I'm cranky and easily irritated. So, as a distraction I am off o bed with a good book.
Today (fingers crossed) I had my last cigarette. I have been on Champix for 2 weeks and as there was 3 cigs left in the pack I smoked them all. That was 4 hours ago. I have a water bottle on my desk and I am swigging from that but find I am very hungry. How do you stop looking for food?
