Willpower

Willpower can be added to any plan. It is the ability to talk ourselves out of smoking and in to staying a non-smoker when a craving comes along. It can also help us to start and maintain and attempt.

Well developed willpower strategies are an important part of an overall plan.  However if you combine well developed willpower strategies with other evidence based methods, you greatly improve your chances.

Everyone can benefit from learning new willpower strategies in addition to the ones we already know. They are free and can be used when you need them most, when a craving comes along. All we need is our mind.
